The Gateway Gecko is the one that sparked your complete immersion into the world of reptiles. For many, the Gateway Gecko is the Crested Gecko, Rhacodactylus ciliatus. It was for me, my wife, and many of my fellow reptile enthusiasts.

7-DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE
We pride ourselves in having the highest quality and healthiest animals possible. Because of this we offer a 7-day health guarantee on all of our animals. In the event that any animal presents with a health problem, you are asked to contact us immediately. In many cases what appears to be an issue, can actually be easily rectified with a change in husbandry. We, in all instances, would rather prevent illness than have to deal with fixing it, so this is an important thing to do even after our guarantee has expired. We are unable to offer a guarantee over 7 days because of our inability to monitor your husbandry practices. Please be aware that dropped tails are not covered under our guarantee as this is not a sign of poor health, but rather extreme stress, usually caused by external surroundings.
Please note that there are no refunds on any animal outside of our 7-day health guarantee. If you are no longer able to care for your animal we ask you to please consider returning it to us so we can find it an appropriate home.
Unfortunately, although extremely rare, it can happen that an animal will be dead on arrival. This can be due to a variety of reasons including stress, mishandling by the cargo department transporting the animal, and faulty heat packs overheating the package. Because each incident is situational, we cannot be held responsible in the event of death on arrival. However, that does not mean we will not work with you to come to a mutual resolution, so it is imperative that you contact us immediately to try to determine the cause of death. Note that we require photo evidence in the event your animal does not arrive alive.
GECKO COLOURATION
Many things play a factor in the colour of a gecko with polychromatic abilities such as Rhacodactlyus species. Temperature, humidity, stress, light and food can all affect the day-to-day intensity of color in any given individual. Juvenile geckos can increase in pattern and colour as they mature or remain relatively the same depending on their genes, therefore it is impossible for us to guarantee what a hatchling will look like, but rather give an educated guess based on current appearance and that of the parents. Even the pictures we offer on our web site can not guarantee what an individual will look like from day to day. We do our best to photograph them when they are in full colour to best represent their traits and appearance. More often than not, the gecko appears much more brilliant in person than photographed.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We offer shipping across Canada at the buyer's expense. Please know that shipping may not be possible immediately upon purchase. We will be unable to ship your animal at certain times based on weather and we will make you aware of this when we discuss delivery. This is to ensure the safety of your animal.
We will not ship your animal until a day and time is confirmed with you on which you will be available to either be home for delivery, or to pick it up at the airport, depending on the method of shipment. It is of the utmost importance that you are present ON TIME in either scenario to accept delivery of your animal as shipping will cause stress and temperature fluctuations can be detrimental to its survival.
